National Fulfillment Services Brightens the Holidays for Local Families
This December, National Fulfillment Services employees donated dozens of toys and two shiny new bicycles to local Chester families. Each year, employees voluntarily participate in the company’s “Holiday Giveback” program which provides gifts to children ages 6 months to 10 years old, whose families may find themselves in difficult financial circumstances during the holiday season.
This year, National Fulfillment Services partnered with both the Township of Chester and The Salvation Army to connect with families and make gift deliveries to their children.
The Salvation Army offers local businesses the opportunity to sponsor families. This year, NFS sponsored two families with a total of four children. The youngest, a set of 1-year-old twins, received wrapped games, stuffed animals and age appropriate gifts. The older kids, received brand new bicycles purchased from a donation pool of over $500 collected by contact center employees.
“Our contact center is a close knit group, coming together to help co-workers and the community in times of trouble as well as joy” said Gina Le, Call Center Director at National Fulfillment Services.
The Township of Chester hosts a yearly Christmas Party for families that may be struggling and invites area businesses, local groups and individuals to participate. National Fulfillment Services team members could either donate store-bought gifts/toys or contribute to a fund used to shop for Christmas gifts.
“NFS is proud to serve the community through our fund drives,” said Tom Krueger, President of National Fulfillment Services. “By focusing our attention on our surrounding neighborhoods, we enhance the foundations to build stronger communities to work and live in.”
Throughout the year, National Fulfillment Services supports non-profit organizations and community enrichment efforts in Chester Township and Delaware County.
